Information & Referral is often the first point of contact people have with
UCP. Individuals, families, professionals, and organizations can call UCP
for information about Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities, as well as
information about a variety of state, local and national resources for
persons with disabilities of all kinds and their families. Our Resource
Specialists are able to answer most calls during normal business hours.
Voice messages during business hours are normally returned the same day, and
all other calls are returned within one business day. Speakers are also
available for presentations to group

daycare, transportation, support groups, and other community resources

videotapes, pamphlets and brochures about
cerebral palsy and other disabilities

and resource information for adaptive
equipment and toys

Parent Support Activities,
including Parent-to-Parent Connections, monthly support
group meetings, quarterly training and social activities for families and
children

“Including
All Children” training and
technical assistance to provide inclusive environments and practices in
daycare, recreational programs, and other youth services.

Speakers
Bureau providing disability awareness,
sensitivity training, information about Cerebral Palsy and UCP, and other
disability-related topics and classes.
