Special Events

United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin (UCP-SEW) sponsors three charity fundraising events throughout the year.  These events provide the agency with a unique opportunity to introduce the work of UCP to many people in the community and make hundreds of new friends.   And, of course, the proceeds from these events help UCP-SEW help more children and adults with disabilities to live life without limits.

Joe’s Run, Walk & Roll®, is a non-competitive 5k run, walk or wheelchair roll or a 1-2-or-3 mile fun run, walk or wheelchair roll ‘fun run’. Participants in Joe’s Run who use a wheelchair can roll right along with family members and friends who may walk or run; where crossing the finish line is the accomplishment.  Unique to Joe’s Run, Walk & Roll® is a Post Run reception at Hart Park with great food, beverages, raffles, and entertainment. The MillerCoors-Charlie Kapp Charity Golf Challenge is a wonderful day of golf and entertainment. Following a day of golf and activities on and off the course, golfers join us for a wonderful dinner along with an exciting voice auction and other entertainment. The MillerCoors-Charlie Kapp Charity Golf Challenge is named in memory of Charlie Kapp, a senior sales executive with Miller Brewing Company, and his daughter Dana who had cerebral palsy. More...
