RESPITE is a supportive service that temporarily relieves families of the stress and daily, round-the-clock responsibility of caring for a family member with a disability.
Respite support services are offered to families in a variety of ways, including:
RESPITE CARE provides funding for a family to hire an appropriate caregiver(s) on an hourly, overnight, or multiple-day basis to care for a family member with a disability in the family home.

RESPITALITY ® gives parents a get-away weekend at a local hotel while a respite worker cares for their child with a disability and his/her siblings at home. Families who are wait-listed for services and those with emergency situations will receive preference.
RESPITE & RECREATION (R & R) CLUB meetings are fun-filled evenings for children with disabilities and their siblings age: birth to 18 years. Pre-registration is required for each meeting; a nominal fee is charged.
United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin contracts with all managed care organizations and works directly with individuals and families on self-directed supports through IRIS.
